York Carers Centre Volunteer Roadshows

York Carers Centre is an independent charity and a network member of the national Carers Trust. We work in partnership with carers, statutory and voluntary organisations to ensure unpaid carers throughout York have access to confidential information, advice and support. We work with carers to influence positive change in service delivery with local government, employers, schools and health providers.

York Carers Centre support carers of all ages:

  • Adults (25+)
  • Young Adult Carers (18 - 25)
  • Young Carers (5 - 18)

We’re always looking for people to join us as volunteers; helping with Young Carers and Young Adult Carers activities, supporting carers via the Telephone Listening Service, helping at Carer Hubs, raising awareness of our work or administration tasks.

Come and see us at one of our Volunteer Roadshows to find out about volunteering with us.
