Talking Points

Talking Points

Following lockdown in March 2020, Talking Points have been unable to operate on a face to face basis and we’re planning to restart these in the near future. We know it’s important to talk face-to-face so Adult social care continue to offer online video appointments using Microsoft Teams.

You can book an appointment with a member of the team on a given date and time. As usual, you will be able to access information, advice and support from adult social care staff as well as find out more about local activities, support and resources. Please contact 01904 555111 (8.30am – 5pm) or email adult.socialsupport@york.gov.uk for more information.

Carers Clinics

If you’re a carer, adult social care want to help you to support your friends and family as much as possible. Adult social care has regular Carers Clinics which are held at various community venues across York. In these clinics, staff ensure that carers are supported, as well as those people they are caring for.

For information on where the latest Carers Clinics will be held, please contact Adult Social Care on telephone (01904) 555111.

For more information about carers please also see the carers section on Live Well York.
