Hillingdon Mind offer a range of evening, daytime, and weekend social clubs and groups which promote mental Recovery and well-being, peer support, leisure and learning activities and engagement with the wider community.
Uxbridge
Monday 6.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.and Tuesday 7.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. and Friday 2.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
These are "drop-in" clubs and do not require formal referral. A light meal can be purchased each day.
Ruislip
Friday 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
Sunday 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
These are "drop-in" clubs and do not require formal referral. A light meal can be purchased on Fridays, and a full lunch can be purchased on Sundays.
Hayes End
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 10.30 a.m. - 2.30 p.m.
A light lunch can be purchased each day. Application is through referral by a relevant professions eg. GP, Psychiatrist, Care-Co-ordinator, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist.
Asian Support Groups
Hayes End
Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10.00 a.m. to 12.00
These are "drop-in" clubs and do not require formal referral.
East African Service
Offering support and advice, particularly for members of the Somali communities.
LGB&T
A group which meets in Uxbridge, on two Saturdays each month, to support members of the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, and transgender communities who are experience mental health issues.
A range of peer-support groups with a focus on mutual support, art and music.
There is no charge for these support services, which are funded by the London Borough of Hillingdon or by external funders.
