Activities on offer that focus on promoting greater independence through developing a wider range of life skills. Keeping people fit and healthy, and increasing their social circle of friends - all in a safe and secure environment. 

Activities include: 

• Life skills training such as independent travel, washing, ironing, budgeting 
• Day trips 
• Shopping 
• Swimming 
• IT sessions 
• Gardening 
• Social evenings 
• A range of sports 
• Dance and cheerleading 
• Music and discos 
• Arts & crafts and creative project work 
• Learning how to cook and bake 
• Indoor/outdoor activities 
• Disco's and parties 

Activities run Monday to Friday between 09.30am and 3.30pm, with a structured timetable which can be tailored to suit individual skills and abilities. 

Facilities include: 

• Large sports hall 
• Fully operational kitchen 
• Community garden 
• Games room with pool table 
• Laptops and internet access 
• Quiet room with television 

Costs:

Fees are charged at £48 per day which includes refreshments, snacks and the cost of activities. We encourage all clients to obtain a Kirklees Passport and a Bus Pass to minimise the cost of entry to leisure centres and transportation costs to and from activities out in the community.
