Ageism Action Day: Micro-grants for Age-friendly Communities

Age Friendly York is one of over 70 age friendly communities in England, led by the Centre for Ageing Better.
In January 2024 they’ll be launching a national campaign to raise awareness and understanding of ageism because most people don’t know it even exists.
The Action Day on March 20th is a key part of our new campaign, giving people an opportunity to take action in their own lives and communities.

We are conducting an Adult Carers Annual Survey to assess how well we are supporting unpaid carers in York. The results will inform our decisions and help us to plan for the future.

New websites provide 24/7 support to families
