Dementia Friendly Screenings at City Screen York

Free tea, coffee and biscuits served from 12.45 in the upstairs lounge followed by a film.

Dementia Friendly screenings seek to provide a fun and inclusive experience to enable people living with dementia, their families and carers to attend the cinema in a safe and welcoming environment.

Open to everyone, the screenings are enhanced to suit the needs of people living with dementia: the lights are left on low, the volume is reduced and staff are Dementia Friends.

Screenings takes place four times a year, check our website or ask at the cinema for details. Tickets £4, carers go free.
