What we provide

Takes place Tuesday mornings (term-time only): 10.30-11.45am at Tang Hall Community Centre, Fifth Avenue, York, YO31 0UG

Musical Connections Community Choir offers people with little or no musical training the opportunity to sing with others in a sociable and relaxed setting. Led by professional musicians, the choir learns a range of musical styles and songs, from old favourites to newer and slightly more challenging pieces. Appropriate performance opportunities are provided. Endorsed by Age UK, choir sessions provide an uplifting opportunity to meet and sing with others - participants report that they have found them an excellent way to improve mental and physical wellbeing.

For adults of all ages and abilities. No musical training is required, just enthusiasm and an openness to learning new things with other music-lovers.
