Armed Forces Drop-In

Anyone with links to the Armed Forces community in York is invited to this weekly drop-in event, which aims to offer the opportunity to socialise and get support in an informal atmosphere.

The Armed Forces Community Covenant Officer at City of York, said the vision behind the event is to provide a safe place to provide relevant support to a range of groups including:

• Serving members of all ranks of the regular Army, Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force and their families.
• Serving members of the reservist forces and their families
• Veterans of all ages and their families
• The cadet force
• And so many others

There's a café and opportunities for social interaction, general welfare (including for example legal, financial, housing and employment advice) and wellbeing, including mental health support if required.
