First York Boccia Club

Boccia is a sport similar to bowls designed to be played by people with disabilities. It is an official Paralympic sport and can be played sitting down.

There are devices for wheelchairs available. Each session comprises of warm up skill activities followed by a game of Boccia. There is also a social half hour.

Relevant support is welcomed; carers or parents can either stay if they want to, or can return later.

Minimum age: 16

Thursday 6.30-7.30pm and 7.30-8.30pm

The cost is £4 for one hour, or £6 for two hours.
