I hope to be starting a community feel, supper club, in and around York for our lovely senior citizens. 🥘 🍴 🍷 ☕️ 🍰

Annie’s community supper club. 😋

So, as I reflect on the last few months of running my own Care business, employing fabulous care colleagues and meeting fabulous customers I want to try and give something back which got me thinking. 💯

I look after a chap that still has so much to give and enjoy in his life, he’s good fun, has a great sense of humour, he tells me he would still like somebody special in his life, loves a conversation about back in the day and I think he can’t be the only one! He’s in his 80’s still living, still laughing still looking! And I’ve got to say what a pleasure he is to look after. 👍😁

So what can I do, well who doesn’t like a natter over a bit of something to eat?
Yes that’s it, I like food and I have 4 spare seats in my car and I’d like to offer them to 4 like minded people, to be the start of Annie’s community supper club. I’ll be there for introductions and to ensure a smooth evening is had by all, I’ll be listening in, joining in, hopefully with some good conversation and maybe i’ll learn a thing or 2 myself!

I’m looking to get a small group of 70+ years young ladies and gents together for supper. So for the first Annie’s community supper club the criteria on this occasion will be:
You're happy to share experiences.
You're Considerate of others lives and their backgrounds.
You're a Good communicator and listener.
You're Jovial and don’t take things too seriously.
You're Obviously a foodie!
You Would love to get out and about and taste your way around York!

I would be happy to pick up and drop off if you have no other way of getting to the venue but you would love the idea of joining.

I will ask some questions to try and match up the group. I am enhanced DBS checked and your information will not be shared with anybody but myself and stored in accordance with GDPR. I would just need a piece of identification, and a short discussion with some brief details.

Come on folks, those who are looking for a little adventure, are up to meet new people and enjoy a relaxed foodie night, let’s do this.
I will try and get some discount for the group also!

I hope to have the first one go ahead in late summer/early Autumn. The restaurant would be mid range in price which you would pay for yourself. One of the questions would be what are your 3 preferences of food which I could then match up to other people’s choices. No personal care can be given at the community supper club. I would have an expectation that Disabled access would be available and this would be identified and checked.

Supper club will run from approx 6pm.
