The Friends of Danesmead Wood

Danesmead Wood is located between the Millenium Field and Danesmead Meadows.

The Friends manages and maintains the small area of woodland.  

We do a variety of work throughout the year depending on the season and try to make the wood accessible to all whilst increasing the habitat and biodiversity of within it.

Recently we have planted fruit trees for the general community to pick and have sown a wild flower meadow to encourage and support pollinators.

Volunteers are always welcome.
