The Easingwold Players

What we provide

We are an amateur theatre group based at the Galtres Centre at Easingwold in North Yorkshire. Founded in 1989, we produce at least two plays a year. Over the years we have presented a wide variety of drama, from classics such as 'She Stoops to Conquer', gems such as 'Waiting in the Wings', blockbusters such as 'Oliver' and 'Peter Pan' and choices reflecting the whims of our directors.

For everyone! We have a loyal following in the local community, and we attempt to reach out to all generations. Our casts have often included 5 year-olds working alongside 75 year-olds. Members come from far and wide, including areas such as York and Ryedale.

Our two main house productions take place in April and November of each year, although we often have summer and/or winter 'studio' productions for smaller casts.

At the time of writing, subscriptions are £10 for adults and £5 for children. This runs from February to February.
