The Conservation Volunteers

TCV enables volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to get involved in practical conservation tasks to improve parks, green spaces, nature reserves and the surrounding countryside for people and for wildlife. Sessions run from 9am to 4pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and on the last Sunday in each month.

Sessions are FREE and no experience is needed. All tasks are fully supervised with first aid cover, tools and equipment provided. Transport from Tang Hall Community Centre is available, along with hot drinks and good company.

We also have groups that work in Hull Road Park. Every Thursday 10.30am to 2pm our gardening group cares for the park and grows food. Wild Fridays is a family friendly sessions that runs from 10am to 1pm, with activities to improve the park for wildlife.

Contact us if you would like to come along, or follow facebook.com/TCVYork for details of current projects.

Make friends, learn new skills, enjoy the outdoors and do something to help the environment. Join in, feel good!
