What we provide

We are committed to providing high quality learning opportunities that give learners access to the University. We pride ourselves on public engagement, providing courses, events and lectures that engage adults from all backgrounds. We offer over 300 short courses on subjects and skills such as history and heritage, history of art, creative writing, literature, music, science and the social sciences.

Our courses are open to anyone with an interest in the subject covered. Whether you are looking to study for credit, for pleasure, or via distance learning or face to face, we have a course for you. Courses are priced individually and we also offer a reduced fee for those in receipt of means-tested benefits.
