York Croquet Club

What we provide

We’re a small, friendly club in the heart of York. We play for pleasure and to enjoy summer weather and each other's company. Croquet is about strategy not strength and is played on equal terms regardless of gender or age. New members and families are always very welcome. Join us!

The main croquet season runs from April to early October. We have a social programme and are trialling winter play. Please see the York Croquet Club website for details of taster afternoons (free), Introductory courses and Play-in-a-Day.

Anyone can play croquet.  Try it!
