York Squash Club

York Squash Club

We are a squash club based at Clifton Park in the heart of the historic city of York.  We share facilities with York Rugby Union Football Club, York Cricket Club and York Tennis Club. Together we make up York Sports Club, one of the most successful sporting clubs in Yorkshire.

We regularly hold tournaments and internal mini-leagues and have nine mens teams and two ladies teams participating in local leagues.


We also hold Totally free Mixed Ability Squash Sessions to start at York Squash Club.
Mixed Ability stemmed from the lack of opportunity for disabled people to take part in mainstream community sport, as equal members, without being separated, classified, or identified.
Just like disabled people, too many individuals and groups are
still excluded or segregated because of stigma, prejudice, or personal perceptions of their capability.

Among our excellent facilities are four squash courts (including a glass-backed court with a viewing gallery), male and female changing facilities and a bar which we share with the other sports clubs at Clifton Park. Affiliated to England Squash, we enjoy a healthy adult and junior membership, catering for all ages and standards.

We encourage sports for all and welcome new members of all standards; age and ability are no barriers!
