Bootham Girls’ & Ladies' Futsal Club - York

Futsal is the only FIFA and UEFA recognised version of indoor football.  It is played on a hard court, usually indoors, with two teams of five players, with rolling substitutes and a heavier ball.  The small space means players must have greater technique and skill levels.  Futsal is the fastest growing indoor team sport in the world!

We are a female only club, with UEFA B qualified coaches.  In the girls section our youngest is 7 and our oldest is 16 years old.  The ladies section is open to anyone from 16 to 99 years young, regardless of ability, everyone is welcome!  All staff are enhanced DBS checked and FA First Aid qualified.

In 2019 we were the first futsal club in the North of England to receive the FA’s Charter Standard Award for excellence.  In the last 4 seasons we have been 3 times to National Futsal Finals with various age groups and each year we host the FA Youth Futsal Cup regional round in York.

In 2023 the ladies team finished 3rd in the National Futsal League North and got to the last 8 of the National Futsal Cup.
