York & District Amalgamation of Anglers (YDAA)

YDAA Coarse and game fishing in and around York. The YDAA was started in 1887 and now encompasses ten individual clubs and has over a thousand members.

We have access to over twenty stretches of prime Yorkshire river fishing on the Yorkshire Ouse, Derwent, Nidd, Foss, Rye and Seven; Pocklington, and Selby Canals; 11 miles of fishing on the Aire and Calder Canal and seven stillwaters, each with its own individual character. 

The association runs a busy match schedule throughout the year, including members, open and veterans matches on both our river sections and a few of our stillwaters.

For members only, although day and holiday tickets are available (See website).

Cost per annum:
Adult: £46
Disabled anglers: £29
Senior citizens (Over 65yrs): £29
Intermediates (16 - 18yrs): £23
Juniors (8 - 15yrs): Free if bought with adult membership, otherwise £12
