Acomb Chess Club

We are the largest Chess club in the York area and now have 5 teams in the York & District Chess League (2 in Division One & 3 in Division Two) and have matches on Mondays & Thursdays.  We will always welcome any new or established players, of any standard, who wish to join us to either play competitive league chess or just friendly matches.  Our first team have been Division One Champions every year since 2019. We have an excellent venue with unlimited free parking, easy disabled access, bar and a hot drinks vending machine.
