Acomb Chess Club

We are the largest Chess club in the York area and have 4 teams in the York & District Chess League (2 in Division One & 2 in Division Two) and have matches on Mondays & Thursdays.  We will always welcome any new or established players, of any standard, who wish to join us to either play competitive league chess or just friendly matches.  Our f!rst team were Division One Champions from 2019 to 2024, and our 2nd team won the Division One k/o lcompetition last season.  We have an excellent venue with unlimited free parking, easy disabled access, bar and a hot drinks vending machine.
