A field game using a round ball, Gaelic football engages skills from multiple sports such as football, rugby and basketball. York Éireannach Gaelic Football Club was established in 2017, more than 60 years after Gaelic football was last played on the Knavesmire.

We have a men's team and a ladies team. Prior experience is not required and we base our objectives on community enjoyment and integration.
