Movers & Shakers

Movers & Shakers is one of Accessible Arts & Media’s most popular sensory groups. In a typical session, you can expect musical and theatrical games, dancing, singing, playing lots of different musical instruments, and writing songs and music. 

Movers and Shaker is a group of learning-disabled adults who like to get together to sing, play, dance, and have fun! Movers and Shakers work through different themes, from countries of the world to seasonal events. 

At our weekly sessions, you get the chance to:  

• take part in musical and theatrical games 
• explore movement and dance through music
• play lots of different musical instruments 
• write your own songs and music 
• socialise and have fun  

Time: Wednesday 1:45pm - 2:45pm and 3.15pm - 4.15pm

Venue: New Earwick Folk Hall, Hawthorne Terrace, York, YO32 4AQ

Cost: £6 (subsidies available)
