Blueberry Academy garden care team
The Blueberry Academy garden care team provide a free gardening service for those who require assistance with gardening work but are unable to carry out works themselves and are on low income.
Tasks may include:
- lawn mowing
- hedge trimming
- weeding
- edging
- planting
- pruning
- sweeping
- raking
- composting
- small garden maintenance
When a referral is made an initial meeting will be required to ensure the area is safe to work in, agree an action plan and ensure eligibility.
The service can involve several visits to maintain the garden as it grows. The team will consist of 2 to 4 people and access to a toilet will be required.
