Description
Wednesdays 11am to 1.30pm or Fridays 12pm - 2pm (look out for childrens activity days in Easter, Summer, Christmas and one offs throughout the year).
Our community groups are here to help from greeting you with a warm smile on a cold day, warm place to, meeting new people, help with food poverty, be part of the communnity, find support and helpful advice. These groups are for all ages, familiy size and children are always welcome. A wonderful place for all at the heart of our lovely town but open to all our extended communities far and wide.
We offer a variety of support to help our local and extended communities.
Foodshare Project:
Wednesday's 11am to 1.30pm or Friday 12noon to 2pm.
Are you struggling to pay bills and buy food?
We can help with offer of food, both fresh, tinned and/or frozen. We also have small amount of none food items or if need a certain items we have a wonderful community who will donated requests if and where possible.
We are here to help whenever you need us either weekly, monthly or just when things are getting hard.
All we ask is you only take what you need for the size of the famiily you live with, not take the same items from each foodshare you attend.
Our community groups are here to help from keeping you warm for an hour or so, meeting new people, help with food poverty supply a meal (fridays only) or drink and support as needed.
If you feel you're not eligible for free food and would like to pay a little you are welcome to pay £3 for 10 items as a donation.
We work with our local area co-ordinator who can support those on benifits to get the right ones and much more.

Meet & Eat group
Friday 12noon to 2pm (food served at 12.30)
Our Community Cafe is free to entry but meals and drinks are pay as much as you can, these can include a meal (various) baked spuds, soup, beans or toast along with drinks, cakes and best of all somewhere to keep warm, read a book, jigsaws and have a chat.
We have a lovely small library of books on offer to read, jigsaws, free wifi, power sockets available, a place for all ages you are welcome to pop down and just meet others.
The friday group works alongside our Foodshare project.
