'Pay it Forward' board

Chocolate & Co customers have the option to add an extra item onto their bill, for someone who can't afford it, to redeem with no questions asked.

Through our Pay it Forward board, we support approximately 25 people each week with a free meal and hot drink. Through this outreach we have started to build authentic relationships with people and through this have also given them additional support and/or signposted them to support elsewhere.

“I first met the people from Chocolate and Co when I was sleeping rough in a tent with a friend. They came to give us both a cup of tea every morning and encouraged us not to give up! Not sure where we would be without them today, we got into a hostel. Chocolate and Co was a lifeline for somewhere to go and meet up with peers. We would get something to eat together, and they have a pay it forward policy, so it really was a help for myself and many, many others. I can’t thank them enough for their time, support and hard work.”
