Kirsty - providing support for individuals living with dementia

If you, or anyone you know, could benefit from time with someone who can be a chatterbox, and also knows when to be quiet, I’m here! It could be someone with dementia who needs company when going out, to help keep their social connection with the world going… Or someone who’d like to chat over a cup of coffee. This can be for an hour or two, or whatever works best, I’m happy to have a conversation! (I’m also rather good at jigsaws!).

I’m the director of my own business, which provides safeguarding consultancy services. I have a clear Enhanced DBS and am on the update service, so happy to provide those details. I also have business insurance on my car, if travel is required and / or accepted by you.

I work to safeguarding confidentiality, so if I think anyone may be at risk, I will share this with you and relevant external agencies, if required. If it is relevant for you, I can also provide brief notes about how I found the person during our time together.

I am also qualified and insured to provide nail cutting (hands and feet), if required, or of interest.
