Description
About the service
The Community Links York Housing Wellbeing team provides flexible, creative, responsive housing and mental health support to adults in the community, in partnership with Changing Lives.
We offer support with addressing debt and budgeting problems, ASB, claiming the correct benefits, accessing training, education and employment, social isolation and accessing physical or mental health support.
The service is suitable for any person struggling with housing-related issues or whose circumstances are having a negative impact on their housing. We work with people from 18 years upwards.
Aims of the service
The aim of the Housing Wellbeing Service is to provide flexible, supportive, responsive housing and mental health support to service users in the community by supporting and enabling people to meet their day to day housing, health and financial needs. We achieve this by working 1:2:1 with an individual and delivering goal orientated support plans.
Our ultimate aim is to promote independence and resilience and support people to manage their lives successfully.
