Kerry's Care

I set up Kerry's Care as I was hearing the same issues clients were having when having a care provider ..."I don't know who's coming today, I don't know what time they'll arrive".

I wanted to have a service which clients could depend on. I have worked in a number of care settings in the past 20 years of working in care. I was until November 2021 a care manager for one of York's biggest home care providers which was given Outstanding for Care by the CQC.

I decided I wanted to set up my own small company due to such a demand for home care. I assist with the following tasks:

• Personal care
• Cleaning
• Medication support
• Meals and fluids
• Alcohol and drug addictions
• Dementia care
• Stoma and catheter care
• Companionship calls
• Support with shopping or appointments

I am insured, up to date with my vaccines, my DBS is on the live portal and have a portfolio with all my training. This includes diplomas in health and social care.
