Senior Residents Invited to Christmas Cheer Reception

The Lord Mayor and Sheriff invite 400 of York’s senior residents to join them at the city’s spectacular Assembly Rooms to celebrate at the Christmas Cheer Receptions.

The annual receptions for residents aged 65 and over will take place on Tuesday 3 December 2024, when a spread of tasty Christmas fare will be served and a feast of musical entertainment can be enjoyed.

Over £1m support secured for York residents

Financial support to help residents cope with the cost of living crisis is being extended until the end of end of March 2025.
