Blue Badge Holders Christmas Market Access Confirmed

Extended access for Blue Badge holders’ during this year’s Christmas market will begin from 5.00pm on 26 November.

From 26 November Blue Badge holders will be able to acces the city centre 2 hours earlier, from 5.00pm rather than 7.00pm.
The delay in implementing the new access arrangements is to allow time for a suitable temporary barrier to be installed in Church Street, to protect people in and around the busy market areas.

Senior Residents Invited to Christmas Cheer Reception

The Lord Mayor and Sheriff invite 400 of York’s senior residents to join them at the city’s spectacular Assembly Rooms to celebrate at the Christmas Cheer Receptions.
